We enjoyed working with this week's team from Reston, VA, and Hinsdale, IL. The 7 from Reston left Fri after lunch. Conner, the 8th goes up to Cedar Rapid Monday to work there. Sunday evening we welcome 5 from the Episcopal Church in Lorton, VA, camping out at Old Brick Episcopal Chaplaincy at Market & Clinton. There are 2 things all psychiatrists agree is good for mood: exercise & helping others. We all are feeling great. Life must get better for you too!

We have no out-of-town volunteers at this time, but we still want to know if you have dead bushes to come out, debris to be picked up, etc. Our local volunteers will try to help as we can. For any volunteer work, inside or out, we need you to fill out the liability waiver found at http://www.iowaepiscopal.org/uploads/pdf/Flood%20Homeowner%20Release%20of%20Liability.pdf
We know it seems specific to mucking out, but we're working on a better one. Email me at katharn at xwires dot net.
Thanks, kdn

We have a lawn mower / gas can down in the neighborhood & are willing to lend it to anyone who can lock it up if they have it overnight.
